Inez Oliveras was born in Philadelphia, a city she loves for its abundance of art, culture, & diversity. It was there she discovered her passion for visual arts—through an after school photography program at TILT Institute for the Contemporary Image.
With access to a darkroom, she explored film & alternative processes in community college. A year later, she switched her major to graphic design, in love with the idea of using type & design to compliment her photography. Inez would go on to earn her B.F.A in Graphic & Interactive Design at West Chester University.
She loves to tell stories, support small businesses, and advocate for things she cares deeply about. Her work has been featured in exhibitions across the greater Philadelphia area and since 2019 has been awarded and recognized for newspaper design, branding, and social advocacy design.
Inez is now based in West Chester, PA. Some of her hobbies include board gaming, hiking, having specialty coffees, thrifting, and endless more (too many to decide between).
